DAY 1
Arrival & Cairo Food Tour
Arrive in Cairo and get used to the hustle-bustle of the city. Try not to eat anything because you are in for a "food-filled funtastic evening" in downtown Cairo where you will experiment your tongue to the luscious Egyptian cuisine. You will taste everything from scrumptious koshary to Meshabek which is an Egyptian take of "Jalebi".
DAY 2
Day of the Pyramids
You will do what you have come to Egypt for. PYRAMIDS! You will be exploring the first perfect prototype, red pyramid and bent pyramid at Dahsur, followed by the step pyramid at Sakkara and rounding off your trip with picture-perfect poses at Pyramids of Giza. At the end of the day, you will take a sleeping train to Aswan because we dont want you to waste a single minute travelling when you can be out there, chasing the world.
DAY 3
Arrive in Aswan, High Dam & Philae Temple
Arrive in Aswan early morning and check in to your 5 stars 3 Nights Nile Cruise. This is an experience to remember and that is how it is going to be. Before the cruise sails, you will step out to explore the high dam, unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. End your day with a magnanimous dinner on your cruise ship with local folk entertainment.
DAY 4
Abu Simbel & Kom Ombo Temple
We promise this is the only day on your trip where we ask you get up at 3 in the morning and we promise it will be every second worth it! You will embark on you 2-3 hours road trip to the temple of Abu Simbel and the magnificent views of this temple by Lake Nassar. Once you are back the ship will sail. The next stop will be in the evening where you will see the sun setting at Kom Ombo temple.
DAY 5
Nile River Cruising
It is a relaxed day today. You have an option to visit Edfu Temple today if you want. Rest of the day, the ship will be cruising and you can take some time to sit on the top deck and take in the majestic sights of Nile while sipping on sweet Egyptian tea.
DAY 6
Hot Air Ballooning over Luxor Temples
You will be docking in Luxor today and start your day with the most romantic adventure. You will be floating in a Hot air Balloon over the ancient temples of Luxor, documenting some of the most ancients sites in the world. Later in the day, you will be exploring Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. You will end the day by catching a sleeping train to Cairo.
DAY 7
Cairo Museum, Khan El-Khalili Market & Light Show by the Pyramids
You will arrive early morning in Cairo, check-in and freshen up and the day with begin by visiting the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities where you will get to see your very first mummy amongst other fascinating historical artefacts. The museum displays over 120000 items, so trust us when we say you will need all the time in the world to see the best of it. Next stop is going to be Khan el Khalili which is the gyptian souk in the historic center of cairo. This is the best time to buy that trinklet or miniature pyramid you have always wanted as a paper weight. You evening ends with a gorgeous laser light show of pyramid, to cement you perfect memories of the country.
DAY 8
Day trip to Alexandria
A trip to Egypt is incomplete without a visit to the port city on the Egyptian Mediterranean coast which was once an ancient learning centre. 2-3 hours drive away, the city of Alexandria houses one of the largest and ancient libraries in the world among other things. Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, Roman Amphitheatre, Fort Qaitbey, Pompey's Pillar, Mosque of Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi and Royal Jewelry Museum are the main attractions of the city. You can choose the ones you interested are in this 1-day trip and can enjoy a peaceful meal by the sea before heading back to Cairo towards the end of this perfect holiday.
